At the end of this Summit, the learner will understand:
- Musculoskeletal anatomy as it relates to coding for the joints, spine, hands and feet.
- Documentation requirements specific to body areas and procedures.
- Medicare code bundling rules and how they impact orthopedic coding.
- Keys to demonstrating medical necessity in prior authorization and to meet requirements set by third-party benefit managers.
- Compliance risk areas specific to musculoskeletal procedures and ways to address them.
- Live Q&A: Join the speaker panels during three sessions to address your most critical questions – in real time.
